Abstract

The article describes and analyzes the image and semantics of the earliest Chinese hieroglyphics. Determined that the earliest Chinese hieroglyphics of all detected are those which are recorded prophetic Scriptures on the bones of the times of the Shang dynasty (about 1500-1050 BC). It is proved that the important condition at all stages of analysis of the image and semantics of the earliest Chinese hieroglyphics is the consideration of the cultural and historical context in which there is composing his sign. It is proved that the graphical structure and values of some Shan Yin «hieroglyphics» are quite comparable with the signs of modern Chinese literature.
