On the basis of analysis of innovation-investment activities the author makes the conclusion on the need to study the innovation-investment development as an interconnected and interdependent process. The necessity to draw special attention to the potentials of innovationinvestments development is pointed out. The notion «potential» is defined more precisely by means of pointing out the evolutionary component of the economic system development.

В статье на основе анализа инновационной и инвестиционной деятельности сделан вывод о необходимости изучения инновационно-инвестиционного развития как взаимосвязанного и взаимообусловленного процесса. Выделена необходимость выявления потенциала инновационно-инвестиционного развития. Уточнено понятие «потенциал» за счёт выделения эволюционной составляющей развития экономической системы.
