Различие в культурных ценностях как стресс-фактор кросскультурной адаптации

Abstract

Временное проживание в неродной культуре серьезное испытание для индивида, сопровождаемое стрессом аккультурации и требующее мобилизации психических ресурсов для адаптации к новым условиям. В статье анализируются позитивные и негативные высказывания проживающих в России иностранцев из стран Запада с позиций различий в культурных ценностях между исходной и принимающей культурами.

Moving to another country requires mobilization of psychological resources to adapt to the new environment and is a serious trial for an individual often referred to as acculturative stress. The article looks into positive and negative comments by western foreigners living in Russia and connects them to the differences in cultural values between their native and host cultures.
