
The article deals with the analysis of the importance of repetition as a speech form of the identity category in public discourse. Repetitions play a great role in the composition of public speaking. The relevance of the research is connected with the interest to the repetition as a stylistic means that is a significant peculiarity of the public speaking which comes through the different kinds and functions al various levels of its composition. Author considers such specific and highly spread language phenomenon as repetition as a way of connection among the sentences for the expression of the orator's intention. The repetition is a particular demonstration of the identity category by means of which the identification procedure is carried out.
Статья посвящена исследованию роли повтора как одной из речевых форм категории тождества в ораторской речи. Значение повторов в ораторской речи огромно. Повтор представляет собой существенную особенность ораторской речи, проявляющийся в различных видах и функциях на разных уровнях ее структуры. Такое специфическое и весьма распространенное языковое явление как повтор рассматривается в качестве средства связи между предложениями для выражения авторского замысла оратора. Повтор является тем частным проявлением тождества, с помощью которого проходит необходимая процедура идентификации.
