В статье рассматриваются особенности функционирования порядковых числительных в газетном тексте, их роль в реализации требований информативности и экспрессивности, предъявляемых к газетным статьям. Описывается соотношение количественной и качественной семантики, коннотативный аспект значения числительных.The article describes the peculiarities of functioning of ordinal numerals in newspaper texts, their role in the realization of the principles of informativity and expressiveness, which are characteristic features of newspaper style. The author analyses the correlation of quantitative and qualitative semantics, the connotative aspect of the meaning of numerals.
