Abstract

It is devoted to structural analysis of personal periphrasis denoting different groups of Ukrain doers and functioning in Russian-language Ukrainian press. It is highlighted that at the moment modern Russian language has got much more phraseological innovations, particularly relevant personal pariphrasis, due to periodicals, radio and TV. Many new periphrasis reflecting the new modern state of society got through the process of phrasologization from free phrases to stable motivated collocations due to their relevance for a short period of time (that is not characteristic feature for most of phrasological units of every language). The basic structural models of periphrasis formation of this type, both productive and non-productive are revealed. The language of mass media is a sphere of language innovations, the search of fresh forms and ways of linguistic expressiveness. Particularly, the newspapers present fresh relevant information from different spheres of human’s activity, adress it to the general readers. It is proved, that many relevant periphrasis are included in the language of mass due to press. Personal periphrasis give an idea of popularity and need of the Ukrainian doer even though in most cases his / her popularity are of negative nature.
