V научный семинар «Междисциплинарные археологические и естественнонаучные исследования памятников культурного наследия: Болгар и Свияжск»

Abstract

В публикации представлены краткое содержание и итоги V научного семинара, посвященного междисциплинарным археологическим и естественнонаучным исследованиям, проводимым на территории Болгарского городища и острова-града Свияжск. Изыскания на данных памятниках ведутся в рамках реализации комплексного проекта «Культурное наследие: остров-град Свияжск и древний Болгар». К исследованиям, осуществляемым Институтом археологии им. А.Х. Халикова АН РТ привлечены и другие научные учреждения России. В рамках проекта проводятся археологические раскопки, сопровождаемые отбором образцов на палинологические, палеоэкологические, радиоуглеродные, дендрохронологические и другие лабораторные исследования. В целях реконструкции технологий производства тех или иных ремесел, проводятся лабораторные исследования находок, получаемых в процессе раскопок. Осуществляются антропологические исследования некрополей. Неотъемлемой частью полевых исследований стало использование геофизических и аэрокосмических методов, позволяющих без разрушений локализовать монументальные каменные строения и иные геомагнитные аномалии. Как при раскопках Болгара и Свияжска, так и в обследовании ближайшей их округи других памятников культурного наследия, активно применяются современные высокоточные системы и методы фиксации с применением систем позиционирования. Результаты комплексных исследований обсуждаются на ежегодных научных семинарах, проводимых с 2011 года.

The authors present a brief summary and conclusions of the V Scientific Workshop focusing on interdisciplinary archaeological and natural scientific studies on the territory of Bolgar fortified settlement and Sviyazhsk island-fort. Research on these sites is carried out under a complex project “Cultural Heritage: Sviyazhsk island-fort and Ancient Bolgar”. The studies are led by Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences and involve participation of other Russian academic institutions as well. The project includes archaeological excavations and collection of samples for palynological, palaeoecological, radio-carbon, dendrochronological and other laboratory investigations, which are used to reconstruct certain production technologies. It also includes anthropological study of necropolises. Use of geo-physical and aero-spatial methods is an integral part of the field research, which allows localizing monumental stone structures and other geomagnetic anomalies without destroying them. The excavations both on Bolgar and Sviyazhsk and their closest environs, i.e. on other cultural sites, actively apply modern high-precision systems and methods of fixation with application of positioning systems. Results of such complex studies have been subject of discussions during annual scientific workshops since 2011.
