Abstract

The work considers the order of serving the punishment for high treasons in the Russian empire, since the 18th century. The places of keeping prisoners, specifically the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Alekseevsky ravelin, the Shlisselburgsky fortress, the prisons of the Trubetsky bastion and Ekaterina's curtain are described in details. The order of supervision and guard duty execution, principles and conditions of the maintenance of prisoners, the rights and duties of political criminals are described.

В работе рассматривается порядок отбывания наказания за государственные преступления в Российской империи, начиная с XVIII века, подробно описываются места содержания арестантов, Петропавловская крепость, Алексеевский равелин, Шлиссельбургская крепость, тюрьмы Трубецкого бастиона и Екатерининской кур- тины. Описывается порядок надзора и несения караульной службы, принципы и ус- ловия содержания заключенных, права и обязанности политических преступников.
