The article gives the main results obtained from studying the Moscow population’s opinion about the contentment (satisfaction) with the medical care rendered at the city policlinics and its availability. The data obtained show the lack of the effectiveness of the main unit of the health protection system the institutions that render primary health and social care.

В статье приведены основные результаты, полученные при изучении мнения населения г. Москвы об удовлетворенности оказываемой в городских поликлиниках медицинской помощью, степени ее доступности. Данные свидетельствуют о недостаточной эффективности деятельности основного звена системы здравоохранения - учреждений, оказывающих первичную медико-социальную помощь.
