Abstract

On the basis of theoretical research and comparative analysis of the main forms of civil engineering structures has been created the steel construction consists of the variable flexural rigidity beam, knee braces and cab, wherein has been applied the principle of minimization bending moment area proposed prof. N.S. Moskalev. The subject of research is the stresses and deformations by virtual work of steel variable flexural rigidity beams with knee braces and cab with spans of 18 and 24 m at various design situations (installation, pre-stress, testing, operation) and comparison with computer results. As a result of researches, the structural analysis in linear statement is proved, the algorithm of engineering calculation is developed and active parameters by optimizing the design of minimum weigh are defined. Field tests confirmed that the deformations of the steel construction when the beams pre-stressed and at stages of loading corresponds to calculations. Economic effect of introduction steel construction consists of the variable flexural rigidity beam, knee braces and cab amounted 7,6 % of the cost of building frame.
