Abstract

The author has performed medical-social survey of 8 age groups in 10 regions and the capital of the Republic of Armenia in order to identify the level of knowledge and motivation of the population on the prevention of major dental diseases for further correction of existing prevention programs. The findings suggest a low level of sanitary knowledge of population, a low level and the quality of the preventive work among the population by dentists, which justified the need to optimize the prevention program.
