Abstract

The article deals with various aspects of grotesque fiction in visual mode of science fiction: raise the problem of reader reception of such works, and discusses their characteristic motifs of vision, eyes, various optical devices, etc. The author shows that in connection with this problem in a special way actualized frames between the worlds of the author / reader and character, as well as between different areas of the art world: hence the importance of the image of “the vision of death”, the transition manifests one of these boundaries. As one of the clearest examples of visualization of images of “seeing death” analyzed story by Sigismund Krzyzanowski “Beads” in course of the study which established a direct interconnection with the principle of poetics of “reverse perspective” (by P. Florensky).
