Abstract

Purpose: the provision of self-development of students is today basic requirement for the implementation of state second generation standards. In modern conditions of search and introduction of new forms and methods of communications the developing network interaction is an important feature. Methodology: the theoretical analysis of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical literature on the problem of the study; the analysis of results of activity of educational institutions for self-development of students and the use of network interaction for educational purposes; survey, testing, observation, interviews; the analysis of normative-legal documents regulating the activities of schools. Results: the model of pedagogical maintenance of self-development of students while network interaction is suggested as the purposeful influence on students activities which consists of three blocks objective, pithy-technological and productive. The phases of maintenance are defined such as design, support and cooperation. The directions of network interaction in order to activate the self-development of students are shown such as «teacher-teacher», «teacher-student» and «student-student». The conclusion about necessity of special organization of such pedagogical maintenance is substantiated. Practical implication: the study materials are recommended for use in the practice of municipal methodical centers of information technologies and schools of various types using network interaction for educational purposes.
