
The Rostov region can be regarded a modal component of the federation in view of the existing demographic cha-racteristics that reflect the general ten-dencies of modern Russian reality. These are the problems of population dynamics, migratory processes and interethnic relations. The article is de-voted to the description of these prob-lems on the material of sociological research and statistical data for the Rostov region.
Ростовская область может рассматриваться в качестве модального субъекта Федерации ввиду наличия демографических характеристик, отражающих общие тенденции российской действительности. К ним относятся: проблемы популяционной динамики, миграционных процессов, межэтнических отношений. Предлагаемая статья посвящена описанию этих проблем на мате-риале социологического исследования и статистических данных по Ростовской области.
