The article dwells on the issue of making contract relations between a transportation carrier and sender. There has been made an attempt to correlate the general provisions of the RF Civil Code concerning the form of transactions and some specific regulations concerning the form of transportation contract set out in Chapter 40 of the RF Civil Code and in the federal law The Charter of the Railway Transport of the Russian Federation

Статья посвящена оформлению договорных отношений между перевозчиком и грузоотправителем. Проделана попытка соотнести общие положения Гражданского кодекса Российской Федерации о форме сделок и специальные правила о форме договора перевозки, закрепленные в гл.40 ГК РФ и федеральном законе Устав железнодорожного транспорта Российской Федерации.
