Abstract

This article presents results of a research focusing on hearing impaired adolescents aged 14-17, who have computer game addiction and are apt to its formation in comparison with non-addicted adolescents. The considerable amount of selection among the hearing impaired adolescents with computer game addiction (40%) and those apt to it (35%) prove the relevance to develop psychological and pedagogical prophylaxis and to rehabilitate computer addiction. Their formation negatively influences the emotional sphere and interpersonal communication between the hearing impaired adolescents in school, their behaviour in family and in community. Also the correlation has been discovered between computer addiction and the degree of divergence of I-real and I-ideal for such adolescents that negatively affects the development of their personality.
