With the mastery of a foreign language it is necessary to consider not only the communicative function of the language, but also cumulative. In his study, the author shows that the degree of mastery of the cultural connotation of the word is one of the important criteria for checking the level of knowledge of foreign languages. In addition, the disclosure of the cultural connotation is an important link in the process of teaching foreign languages. In the study of foreign languages we should focus on extra linguistic information. Our work is devoted to some natural features of cultural connotations in terms of the cumulative function of language.
