The effects of RU-1205 compound with a well-established kappa-opioid activity on the other neurotransmitter systems were studied. The neurochemical mechanisms of the action of RU-1205 were identified. It has been established that the substance under study has no influence on the effects of adrenergic, cholinergic and serotonergic neurotransmitter systems. It has also been determined that RU-1205 reduces fenamic hyperactivity of mice and the number of convulsions induced by bicuculline and picrotoxin.
