The article deals with the issues of increasing food supply efficiency at the regional level. These issues are very urgent nowadays when there has been a decline in production in all sectors of the economy, including agriculture and food sectors. In this article the author offers the food supply model for the Republic of Buryatia and also outlines the ways to improve the arrangement system and the effective specialization of the agricultural production in the region and some other measures.

Рассматриваются вопросы повышения уровня эффективности системы продовольственного обеспечения региона, что особенно актуально сейчас, когда во всем мире произошел спад в развитии всех секторов экономики, в том числе агропромышленного и продовольственного комплексов. Предлагается модель обеспечения продовольствием Республики Бурятия, намечаются пути совершенствования системы размещения и эффективной специализации агропромышленного производства региона.
