История логического квадрата: связь онтологических оснований и логического следования

Abstract

The article scrutinizes the origins of the logical square on the ground of detailed review of the works of ancient and mediaeval scholars. The study shows the interrelation between the ontological foundations and the relation of logical implication. A solution is proposed for the problem of the authorship in case of the logical square serving as an illustrative device as well as for the problem of interpretation of indefinite propositions

В статье на основе текстологического анализа текстов античных и средневековых авторов рассмотрена история возникновения логического квадрата. Показана взаимосвязь онтологических оснований и отношения логического следования. Решается вопрос об авторстве логического квадрата как иллюстративного средства и проблема интерпретации неопределенных суждений.
