Abstract

On the basis of system approach and the comprehensive analysis of known concepts and definitions of electrical equipment the concept of category electrotechnical system is formulated. The morphological analysis of this category in relation to objects of a water transport is provided. Distinctions between concepts an electrotechnical product, the electrotechnical device, the electronic device, an electronic element are considered and their examples are given. It is established that electrotechnical systems are dynamic systems which can be considered in most cases as system of automatic control or automatic actuation devices. The parameters characterizing a condition of electrotechnical systems are considered. It is shown that the most important class of these systems are electromechanical systems. Classification of electromechanical systems is considered and the block diagram of the electric drive which is the most widespread electromechanical system of objects of a water transport is provided.
