Эволюция зарубежной практики противодействия преступности

Abstract

Purpose: to study specific features of formation and development of the Western countries’ methods and ways of crime combatting. Methods and methodology: general scientific research methods (retrospective analysis, comparative legal, formal-logical, sociological) are used. Results: historical overview of the concepts and theories of criminology is provided. Various strategies to combat criminal phenomena of ancient and medieval states are described. The research reveals the dependence of crime combatting tools of the state and society on the traditional national religion, public morals, customs, dominating political and economic system and the level of scientific and technical development.

Цель: исследование особенностей формирования и развития методов и способов борьбы западных государств с преступностью. Методы и методология: использованы общенаучные методы исследования (ретроспективный анализ, сравнительно-правовой, формально-логический, социологический). Результаты: представлен исторический обзор концепций и теорий криминологии. Описаны различные стратегии борьбы с преступными явлениями древних и средневековых государств. Выявлена зависимость инструментов борьбы государства и общества с преступностью от традиционной национальной религии, общественной нравственности, обычаев, господствующего политического и экономического уклада и уровня научно-технического развития.
