Abstract

The article studies the approaches toward assessing economic availability of foodstuffs in the North-West federal district, provides an estimation of average per capita consumption of foodstuffs by the population, as well as taking into account caloric value and balance of nutrients content. The article also analyses the impact of the population incomes change on the consumption of basic foodstuffs.

В статье исследованы подходы к оценке экономической доступности продовольствия в регионах Северо-Западного федерального округа, дана оценка среднедушевого потребления продуктов питания населением, в том числе с учётом калорийности и сбалансированности по составу питательных веществ. Проведён анализ влияния изменения доходов населения на потребление основных продуктов питания.
