Abstract

The paper aims at elaborating the notion of phraseological creativity within the framework of linguoculturological studies. The phraseological creativity is explored in reference to the dynamic dimension singled out in the present research. The paper shows that new phraseologisms denoting various aspects of verbal communication emerge in English due to the activation of certain macro-metaphorical conceptual models as potentially inexhaustible sources of phraseological imagery.
