Abstract

The article singles out several theories as the conceptual foundations of the technology of forming the students' independent learning activity: the theory of students' learning activity, the theory of gradual formation of mental actions, the theory of personality oriented development education, the theory of problem education and the theory of dominant. The analysis of these theories' essence and their potential to form the students' independent learning activity allows to formulate six conceptual propositions which serve as the foundations of developing the technology of forming the students' independent learning activity.
