Abstract

В данной статье представлены результаты инструментального исследования ударных гласных британского варианта английского языка, выделенных синтагматическим и словесным типами ударений. Выявлена зависимость длительности гласных от типа ударения и позиции в синтагме.

The article presents the results of instrumental analysis of British stressed vowels. The vowels concerned have syntagmatic and word stress. The results showthe dependence ofvowels' length on stress type and the position in syntagma.
