Abstract

Actuality of the investigation theme is determined by the strong need for a conceptual integrity of epistemology dealing with opposite types of knowledge. The paper’s subject-matter is a universal conceptual scheme of epistemology uniting empirical and a-priori knowledge-types. Investigation methods: graphic modeling logical structures; discrete mathematical modeling axiological systems. Results: I invented and investigated a set of hitherto not-studied logical squares and hexagons of opposition of empirical and a-priori knowledge-types defined by complicated compositions of epistemic, alethic, and axiological (evaluative) modalities. Conclusion: constructing a logical synthesis of a-priori knowledge and experience one is possible and graphic models of the synthesis can be heuristically fruitful and pedagogically effective means of cognition.
