Abstract

The article is concerned with the questions of the state officials’ vocational competencies. The law making process is analyzed in terms of M. Weber’s social action and J. Habermas’s communicative action. The authors consider components of the vocational competencies and propose a methodology for studying the communicative aspect of the professional competencies.
