The article discusses a scientifically based approach to the organization of the educational process of conditionally healthy infants. It is based on the main principles of children’s mental development: ontogenetic, physiological and cultural and historical, according to which the system of education and care determines the course of child’s mental development at the early stages of ontogeny. Selection of content, organization and technical means depends on the state of the child’s health at every stage of growth and development, the rate of assimilation of new individual psychological characteristics and the child’s relationship with the environment.
