Abstract

The vector-algorithmic method of calculating the power and the electromagnetic torque of the three-phase asynchronous electric motor supplied from the single phase network is discussed. The calculation procedure is described by the example of a single-phase/ three-phase transistor reverse commutator, being led by the network. The recommendations about the choice of the type of electric drives for three-phase electric motors of the electrified agricultural machines in the remote farms, in the case of the absence of the three-phase network are proposed. By the results of computational research the conclusions are drawn on the power and the electromagnetic torque developed by the electric motor, being led by single phase network with the single-phase/ threephase transistor reverse commutator, being led by single phase network.
