Abstract

The article reflects the problem of respectful attitude towards elderly people formation among the youths; it attempts to define the importance of interaction between different generations for the development of human potential and moral consolidation of Russian society. It emphasizes the manifestation of respectful attitude of the youths to elderly people traditional for Russian culture. The authors of the article confirm that the respectful attitude towards elderly people among the youths could be formed by means of social institutions’, educational organizations’, and public associations’ task-oriented activities.

В статье находит отражение проблема формирования уважительного отношения молодёжи к пожилым людям, осуществлена попытка определения значимости межпоколенного взаимодействия для развития человеческого потенциала, духовной консолидации российского общества. Особое внимание уделено проявлению почтительного отношения молодежи к старшим в русской традиционной культуре. Авторы статьи утверждают, что формирование у молодёжи уважительного отношения к пожилым людям возможно посредством организации целенаправленной деятельности социальных институтов, образовательных организаций, общественных объединений.
