Development of professional competence of teachers in the courses aimed at qualification elevation

Abstract

В статье анализируются основные этапы становления нового понятия (парадигмы) компетенция/компетентность, профессионально педагогические компетенции, компетентностям подходе к повышению квалификации работников образования на современном этапе.Автор статьи раскрывает общность и отличие между такими понятиями, как «знания, умения, навыки», «деятельность», «профессионализм», «мастерство», «компетенция» и «компетентность». Также выражается мнение о путях повышения профессиональнопедагогических компетенциях учителя на курсах повышения квалификации и его результатах. В статье обоснована необходимость учёта взглядов выдающихся педагогов прошлого, а также дан анализ работ современных учёных при решении вопросов компетенции на курсах повышения квалификации учителей средних школ.

The article tells about main steps of development new prodigms of competence approach to the professional development of the educationalists in the modern period. The author express their views on generality and the difference between the concepts like “Knowledge, Ability, Skills”, “Function”, “Professionalism”, “Mastership/art” and “Competence”. The article also expresses the view on the way of improving the teachers’ competence in the professional development courses and its outcomes.
