In the article, we offer an option how to modify Anatoliy Lutoshkin’s method of identification and investigation of emotional and psychological climate in children’s groups in a modern children’s camp. The technique provides a measure: of emotional intensity of activity of units; of degree of goodwill of teenagers in relation to each other, of level of conflict; of degree of cohesion of the unit; of the level of politeness and of culture of communication; of degree of hierarchy in relationships and of self-perception of adolescents in the unit. Some indicators of emotional well-being and ill-being in the extent of children’s camp centre and possible ways of taking them into account in practical work have been adduced.
