The article analyses artistic and aesthetic aspects of historical cities formation in the south of Kazakhstan. It reveals the peculiarities of interrelation between natural landscape and architectural artistic system, the distinctive features of architectural aspect and the image of settlements

В статье анализируются художественно-эстетические аспекты формирования исторических городов южного Казахстана, раскрываются особенности взаимосвязи природного ландшафта и архитектурно-художественной системы, выявляются характерные черты архитектурного облика и образа поселений
