Abstract

This article devoted to F. I. Chaliapin as a cultural figure, historian, and theorist considers the origin of his memoirs, his attitude towards revolution in Russia and Soviet reality, assessment of spiritual foundation of the revolution, as well as comparing F. I. Chaliapin’s and N. A. Berdyaev’s views on Russian revolution.

В статье о Ф. И. Шаляпине как деятеле культуры, историке и мыслителе рассматриваются: происхождение его мемуаров, отношение к революции в России и советской действительности, оценка духовной основы революции, соотношение взглядов на русскую революцию Ф. И. Шаляпина и Н. А. Бердяева.
