The article deals with the pre-revolutionary cultural and religious landscape of the territory of the Trans-Baikal region represented by the number of the dominant churches of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) and the places of worship of other religions and denominations. Detailed description of the species composition of existing churches of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Trans-Baikal region, quantification and their functional significance.

В статье рассматривается дореволюционный культурно-религиозный ландшафт территории Забайкальского края, представленный преобладающими по количеству храмами Русской православной церкви (РПЦ) и культовыми сооружениями других религий и конфессий. Подробно описан видовой состав существовавших церквей Русской православной церкви в Забайкальском крае, количественная оценка и их функциональное значение.
