Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the cultural differences between the Russian and foreign professionals (expats) from the EU and the US working together in Russia. The article demonstrates that in multinational labor collectives business and professional exchange among employees take place against the backdrop of the continuing cultural distance, which is expressed in different attitudes to power, risk and group interests. At the same time, both among the Russian professionals and the expats it is possible to distinguish polar groups, one of which represents basic set of values of its culture, and the other a set of values which are closer to the neighbor culture.
