The article deals with the theoretical approaches to the definitions of sustainable development, ecologic and economic modeling, and also with the problems of tourism sustainable development within the limits of tourist-recreational special economic zone creation, the issues of improvement the environment condition of the region a by development of environmentally safe production, increasing of employment and growth of real incomes of population, reduction of social tension in the republic.

В статье рассматриваются теоретические подходы к определению устойчивого развития, эколого-экономического моделирования, а также проблемы устойчивости развития туризма в рамках создания туристско-рекреационной особой экономической зоны, вопросы улучшения состояния окружающей среды в регионе за счет развития экологически безопасных производств, повышения занятости и обеспечения роста реальных доходов населения, снижения социальной напряженности в республике.
