Construction is a source of high intensity (75-90 dBA) acoustical pollution in cities. It is found out that a construction site noise depends on the character of construction works. A classification of building sites on noise levels was proposed (5 classes). Corrections to equivalent sound level for the spectral analysis of construction sites were obtained. Dependencies of noise attenuation of area sources with the increase of distance were investigated with theoretical and practical methods. Processes of construction site noise levels’ alteration during their functioning were examined.
