Abstract

The article examines the concepts of spirituality and religiousness from the perspective of an integrative approach Shemet I. S. Spirituality is seen as the ability to control the life of the human psyche and behavior. Religion is seen as embeddedness (adaptation) to the requirements of the religious system. Most religions postulate own the exclusive rights to spiritual perfection, deny the path of spiritual development regardless of religion. This leads to the dependence of man on the religious system, a denial of his own spiritual quest. The high subjectivity involves increasing the independence of man from outside influences, whatever the level of mentality they were applied. In this context, religious adaptation is a kind of stage in the development of spirituality, to be followed by a reflection of this effect, the dialectical negation of the spirit and out beyond the religious boundaries, in order to find their own spiritual guidance. From the perspective of the concept of integration of the psyche, religious adaptation is not essential to the development of spirit, and is a real factor in the modern spiritual influence, the effects of which are nonlinear and require system analysis.
