
The article is dedicated to meta-language activity of students in the process of realizing the unknown English composites belonging to one subject group a person breaking some law. Three varieties of created metatexts, which reflect the knowledge of informants from Russian and English, are revealed.
Статья посвящена метаязыковой деятельности студентов в процессе осознания неизвестных английских композитов одной тематической группы «человек, нарушивший закон». Выявляются три разновидности созданных метатекстов, отражающих знания информантов о русском и английском языках.
