Abstract

In the article one of the constitutional and criminal procedural guarantees for a person not to testify against himself and close relatives whose circle is determined by law. The analysis of norms of the criminal procedure code of the Russian Federation and law-enforcement practices, provokes a quite natural question: can or should the legal representative of a juvenile suspect (accused) to give incriminating testimony against a minor, whose interests he represents.
