Abstract

The article investigates a lyrical song which is supposed to be an expression of the present time leading ideology. In societies domineered by a certain ideology, a song and even a love song is a part of directive discourse since it declares behavioural models which are supposed to be accepted as example models. In societies where ideology is not demonstrated as a political doctrine, a song implies unconscious ideology it is a set of moral values and schemes of reality interpretations. The analysis is carried out on the basis of distinguishing certain rhetorical formulae and taking into account that the change of formulae implies changes in the social worldview.
