Abstract

Simonde de Sismondi takes a special place in the Western classical political economy. Theoretical and methodological theses of his economic doctrine on the basis of two periods, which are marked in his works are reviewed: when he joins classics and divides “credo” of liberalism and when he acts as a critic of classics and liberalism. The attention is paid to the thesis of socialization of economic science. Capitalistic system of management has a complex of socio-economic antagonisms. But, against common sense, economists of liberal direction in their methodological basis abstract reality. Sismondi criticizes capitalistic system of the economy for its antisocial aim, for great differentiation in economic position in two different masses of population. From his position, the society which does not bring happiness to the most of population of the country does not have any prospects of development. Ethical question of distributive relations, which is studied by Swiss scientist, is also relevant for modern world. In this concept the problem of distribution is a keystone of political economy and economic policy.
