Abstract

The following article analyzes the questions of the influence of the "language immersion" programme on personal and intellectual characteristics of children. It describes the "language immersion" educational programme, which is used in Estonian schools for the purpose of minor groups integration. The author gives an overview of the comparative investigation of the experimental group (students involved into the "language immersion" programme and their parents) and the control group (students taught in their mother tongue according to the classical education model and their family members). The data received in the course of the research into children's verbal intelligence and the distinction authenticity between them are analyzed.

В статье рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с влиянием программы обучения на личностные и интеллектуальные характеристики детей. Дана характеристика образовательной программы «языкового погружения», которая на данный момент применяется в школах Эстонии с целью интеграции недоминантной группы населения. Рассмотрена программа сравнительного исследования экспериментальной (учащиеся по системе «языкового погружения» и их родители) и контрольной (учащиеся, обучающиеся на родном языке по классической образовательной модели и их семьи) групп. Приводятся данные, полученные в ходе исследования вербального интеллекта детей, показана достоверность различий между ними.
