Abstract

The authors report here the findings of a multicentre study of efficacy of Sandimmune-Neoral in hormone-sensitive and hormone-resistant nephrotic syndrome related to primary glomerulonephritis in children. The drug proved efficient in different morphological variants of glomerulonephritis, taking course with nephrotic syndrome. High efficacy of the drug was observed not only in hormone-sensitive, but in hormone-resistant nephrotic syndrome. The authors have for the first time in the Russian literature shown a possibility of formation of cyclosporin-dependence during therapy with Sandimmune-Neoral.
