Sustainable development concept is traditionally perceived in the same group with such phenomena as globalization, ecological crisis, technology development issues. Due to the special nature of the sustainable development concept, two discourses are being highlighted here the ecological one containing coexistence of economical development in which the manufacture consumes ecosystem resources and ecological stability putting limit on the scale of production in certain areas, and the political one putting emphasis on theory implementation issues. This paper presents an analysis of the sustainable development concept, its conceptualization in the framework of sustainable development conception and its development in both types of discourses.
