
The article deals with the Russian native speakers metalanguage activity while interpreting an English text. Three types of metatexts, which characterize their authors as linguistic personalities, are pointed out.
В статье анализируется метаязыковая деятельность рядовых носителей русского языка при интерпретации англоязычного текста. Выделяются три типа метатекстов, характеризующих их авторов как языковую личность.
