Abstract

The main modern technological trends that determine the future of the automotive industry are examined. Electric and hybrid cars are presented and described, their advantages over traditional cars with internal combustion engines are indicated. It is also presented the te chnology based on a system of autonomous automated driving without a driver, using modern optical sensors, radar and computer algorithms.
