
In the 21st century, the use of innovative geosynthetic materials is growing every year. Such materials are used in every region of our vast country during the reconstruction of highways and artificial structures, as well as coastal fortifications. The reason for this is an increase in the service life of such structures by more than 1.5 times, according to experts. This article examines the concept of geosynthetic materials and their use in road construction practice. В ХХI в. применение инновационных геосинтетических материалов растет с каждым годом. Такие материалы используются в каждом регионе нашей необъятной страны при проведении реконструкции автомобильных дорог и искусственных сооружений, а также берегоукреплений. Причиной тому служит повышение срока службы таких сооружений более чем в 1,5 раза, по оценкам специалистов. В этой статье рассматривается понятие геосинтетических материалов и их использование в дорожно-строительной практике.
